Spring is around the corner - we can feel it! A new season can bring a new set of wheels to get ready for the outdoor adventures to come. At Radio Flyer, we are so excited to get out any play that we’re giving away one toy a day now through April 26, 2019! What better excuse to get outside and play than a free wagon, trike or ride-on toy?

6 Reasons I Wish We Had a Backyard

August 21, 2018

City living is surprisingly baby friendly. No stairs in our unit, so less worry about curious crawlers. It is easy to roll a stroller out the door with an elevator straight to the lobby. Plus, I can walk to Chicago’s Michigan Avenue and immediately feel like I’m on an interesting adventure. (Nordstrom is great for a double stroller, BTW. Very wide aisles, plus easy elevators.) I love city life and have strongly held onto my stance, even with twin babies.

Little Red Story: Ready to Roll!

Our March Little Red Stories winner shared how her youngest daughter, Evie, received a Radio Flyer scooter for her birthday in February, but couldn’t take it for a spin because of the snow hiding the sidewalks. Once the ice melted away, she headed outside to enjoy her new ride and didn’t let the bitter winter hold her back.

What was once a special prize at a local Wales Kiwanis Club Easter Egg Hunt nearly 25 years ago will again be a treasured reward—as the gift of a Radio Flyer Town & Country Wagon comes full circle.   Some lucky family will receive the wagon at this year’s contest, thanks to our Little Red Story Winner for January:  David M.

Halloween Fun: Cruising Costumes

October 28, 2013
Neighborhoods everywhere are bursting with decorations in anticipation of Halloween.  I love to see doorsteps lit by the glow of carved pumpkins and shrubs beset with spider webs.  Soon sidewalks will be overtaken by pirates and princesses sprinting from house to house.
Trick-or-treating can be hard work, and sometimes little pumpkins need help keeping up with their older siblings' frantic candy gathering.

Parades are a key ingredient of American summers. As a kid, I loved decorating my parade bike. I happily spent whole mornings agonizing over the best proportions of stars to stripes.  Halfway through covering my bike in crepe paper, I always wished my bike was red, white or blue. That would be such an easier starting point!

Game Time: Birthday Games

February 11, 2013

At so many birthday parties we expect a gaggle of kids to wait patiently while a birthday girl opens gifts or the birthday boy blows out candles. All that waiting can be tough for kids who NEED to move, and they will squirm, wiggle and bounce if you want them to or not!

Flyer Friday: Pumpkin Patch

Happy Friday!

As you get ready to kick off the weekend, we wanted to share a photo to inspire you to go outside and play!  We'll feature a different user-submitted photo each week.

This week's Flyer Friday feature comes from Emily A. in Tupelo, Mississippi.  Emily had a little help from her 2-1/2 year old daughter while visiting a pumpkin patch in her hometown at the end of October. Thanks for sharing your photo Emily!

Did anyone else have a chance to enjoy a family trip to a pumpkin patch this fall?
