4 Best Toy Wagons for Babies & Toddlers

March 26, 2020

I’ve been working at Radio Flyer for over a decade, so it's no surprise that I love little red wagons. I’ve always been charmed by our baby’s first wagon options. Long before I had kids, I collected many of these pint-sized versions of the iconic vehicle. They are the perfect decor pieces—at both work and home. I always knew they were technically toys, but I was thinking that they are just so dang cute!

How to Halloween - With Toddlers

October 31, 2019

Halloween is one of my favorite holidays. As a kid, I loved the air of possibility. For one night, you can become anyone or anything. When I stepped out the door in my costume, I felt like anything could happen. Maybe my broomstick would finally fly. Maybe I’d be transported back into the 1950s and my poodle skirt would fit right in. Maybe I’d run into the actual soccer star I dressed up as. Who knew? It was Halloween. Anything was possible.

Our February Little Red Stories winner, Laura T., tells us that both she and her husband received a Radio Flyer wagon when they were two years old. This spring I went to my nephew’s soccer game and watched a little boy sit down in a puddle of mud because he was tired of standing while watching his brother play. I also noticed that there are a lot of items that families bring to these types of events such as food, drinks, blankets, toys for the kids, wipes, and chairs. A wagon can help in these situations by lugging kids and stuff to the playing field or concert area.

When I go to the zoo, I usually see families unloading all the gear for the day from their car trunks. There are a lot of items to bring along; coolers, snacks, diaper bags, and more. It can sometimes be a challenge to fit all of those items and a red wagon in your car for on-the-go adventures.

Unexpected moments can sometimes bring a lot of joy. I experienced this first hand when I was able to present the grand prize winner of our Little Red Stories contest with a check for $10,000 recently in Lawrence, Kansas.

Little Red Easter Wagon

April 11, 2014

April showers bring May flowers and—this year—the Easter Bunny. While chocolate rabbits will never (hopefully!) go out of style, there are many new ways to celebrate and decorate all over the internet this year. These easter baskets are recycled—what a great use for brown paper grocery bags! And I would love to sit down at brunch to find these adorable easter treats at my place.
