On one Saturday afternoon mommy and daddy told me that we were going to go out to my grandparents house to take my very first Christmas photo. As we were driving out to Grandma and Grandpa's mommy realize that she forgot the wooden box that they were going to sit me in for my photo. Mommy said that's okay grandma and grandpa have something very special out in their old barn that we can get to put you in. Once we got to my grandparents house mommy and daddy and I all put on our snow boots and went out to the old barn and opened up the door and there she was Old Red. Mommy then told me a story about how my grandma and grandpa bought that old red wagon for my uncle Karl and my mommy it was their toys long time ago that they played in when they were young and that one day it would be passed down to me. After pulling the red wagon out of the barn mommy and daddy cleaned it all up. After the old red wagon was all cleaned up we went on a short walk out behind grandma and grandpas house where grandma got to take my very first Red Wagon Christmas photo. Mommy told me that this is a very special wagon and will one day be a very special photo. - Love Noah Delbert
A Radio Flyer to remember.. May 23, 1999 was a year to remember. It was my 5th birthday and I had been begging for a Radio Flyer wagon for sometime. I woke up expecting a few small gifts and walked into the living room to see a beautiful shiny red wagon in my living room. Tears of joy and excitement filled the room. It had a big white bow on it. After many thank yous, hugs, and kisses I ran outside to show off my new shiny red wagon. It was the envy of all the neighborhood kids. We played daily with my Radio Flyer wagon hauling things from house to house. It brought me years of joy. I still have it to this day. I can't wait to wrap it back up and give it to my daughter for her 5th birthday!
Last year, our daughter, Chelsey, was 10 months old when we celebrated her first Christmas. She had just started walking, loved riding things and playing outside, so it only seemed natural that her first "big" Christmas present should be a wagon. With my husband being the only one working so that I could stay home with Chelsey, we didn't have much extra to spend on Christmas, so we were very excited to find out that a friend's son had been given 2 Radio Flyer Pathfinder Wagons for his birthday and they were happy to help us give our daughter something we knew she would love. On Christmas morning, she almost didn't care to open anything after seeing her wagon; she just wanted to be pulled around the living room. All year long we have enjoyed playing outside with her wagon, pulling my daughter, her dolls, and her kittens. And I am happy to say that this year, since she is fascinated by the older kids riding bikes, we were able to buy her a beautiful pink Radio Flyer Classic Tricycle to have waiting for her under the tree. I can't wait to see her try to ride it around the living room Christmas morning.
It was my daughters first birthday gift, the 2-seater wagon with cup holders. She absolutely loved it, we put presents in it and she sat in it. Over the next years, we put a lot of miles on her wagon. Now, she is 8 and has decided to give her wagon to her 1 and 2-year-old brothers who love to throw balls in it and pull it around. As I watch all my children grow, this Radio Flyer wagon is part of the memories.
About 2 months before my son's birthday we went to visit his aunt. She had a radio flyer wagon and we took him for a ride and I have never seen him more happy in his life! So after that I was determined to get him a wagon just like that. We saved every penny we had and bought him that wagon and he loves it!! Couldn't be happier!
