When I was a child, over sixty years ago, my brother and I piled a load of cancer informational pamphlets in my Radio Flyer wagon. We went all over the neighborhood, handing them out, and collecting for the local cancer fund drive. We rated an article and our pictures in the local newspaper.

When i taught school, the children always would forget the lunches in the classroom. To solve that problem, one of my classroom dads redid his son’s wooden Radio Flyer wagon and donated it to the classroom. So for 18+ years that wonderful red wagon became our place to put students’ lunches when they entered the classroom in the morning. Then the “wagon master” would take it to the lunch room so all would have their food. I still have the wagon. It has gone through being played with by grandchildren, hauling garden items and groceries, pulling balls and play equipment around, etc. It has been refurbished another couple of times and is still going strong! LOVE THAT WAGON!
