Mousetrap

"My son D was diagnosed with a brain tumor when he was 3 months old. He was in and out of the hospital for 3 months. It was very stressful for him as he had to stay in the hospital bed and wasn't able to get off the bed. One day, a wonderful the nurse brought in a Radio Flyer wagon and offered to cushion it up so he can lay on it instead of his hospital bed. It was the best day of D's life. We were able to wheel him around the unit and even to the hospital cafe where he gets to look at something besides the boring hospital ceiling. He became so attached to it that he even took naps in it. D's brain tumor was removed 3 months later. He is now tumor free but still dealing with physical problems associated with the brain tumor. He recently just had 2 surgeries which affected his ability to walk. He would love to be able to sit in a Radio Flyer wagon again and go out for a stroll without feeling different from other toddlers who are able to run around. A Radio Flyer wagon will give him a chance to be just a kid!"
