Thankful For Sun, & The Little Things

Madelyn Baughman lives in Columbia, SC. On Sunday, October 4th, our little city of Forest Acres in South Carolina woke up to devastation and destruction from flooding. Thankfully, Madelyn's home, unlike many in the area had little damage. After days of raining and being cooped indoors, the first thing Madelyn wanted to do when the sun emerged, was take a ride on her Radio Flyer bike. She even shared her seat with her favorite monkey. This tragedy has been a great reminder for our family to be thankful for the little things, like hugs, sunny days, little red bikes, and that we have each other. In the end, it is all that matters!
